ABS filament Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) is a common plastic used in many of the objects around your home including lego. ABS is strong, durable and can also be flexible. It requires a heated bed and controled environment for 3D printing. It is not very environmentally friendly, and will emit some fumes when printing with it.
