Stainless Steel barrel with PTFE (teflon) liner
This stainless steel barrel has continuous thread so it is more universal than our standard barrel. It also has been drilled out larger at one end and a piece of teflon (PTFE) tube inserted to reduce the chances of "barrel lock" which can stop filament feeding resulting in a failed print and otherwise only solved with the oily rag trick (see our support articles)

Be warned though that the melting point of teflon is not that much greater than filament, so it is not advisable to use this part where an all metal extruder design or high temperature filament is to be used.
