ABS Filament – Tough, Heat-Resistant and Built for Functional Prints

ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) is a popular choice for printing functional and mechanical parts thanks to its high impact resistance, strength, and thermal stability. It’s widely used in engineering, product design, robotics, and automotive applications.

Unlike PLA, ABS requires a heated bed and enclosed print chamber to reduce warping and cracking during printing — making it ideal for use with Bilby3D’s range of fully enclosed, high-performance 3D printers. It is important to use in a well ventilated space, or consider fume extraction and filtering.

Our ABS filaments are tested for dimensional accuracy, layer adhesion, and consistent extrusion, and are available in a variety of colours, spool sizes, and brands. Some advanced ABS blends also offer reduced odour and improved printability.
