TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) is a flexible, rubber-like filament that’s perfect for printing parts that need to bend, compress, or withstand repeated impact. It’s commonly used for gaskets, phone cases, wearable parts, hinges, vibration mounts, and more.
Available in a range of Shore hardness levels (such as 90A, 95A and 64D), TPU allows you to dial in the right flexibility for your application — from soft and stretchy to firm yet flexible. Despite its elasticity, TPU maintains excellent layer adhesion and wear resistance.
TPU prints best on direct-drive 3D printers due to its softness, though some higher-hardness types can also work with well-tuned Bowden setups. Its recommended to print at slower speeds and avoid retraction-heavy designs for optimal results.
Bilby3D stocks high-quality TPU filament tested for dimensional consistency and reliable extrusion. Available in multiple colours and spool sizes, our TPU options are ready for prototyping and production alike.
