Our carbon fibre and composite filaments deliver exceptional strength, stiffness, and dimensional stability while remaining lightweight. These advanced materials are perfect for engineering, prototyping, and functional parts that need to perform under stress or at elevated temperatures.
Each composite filament starts with a strong base polymer — such as PA (Nylon), PETG, or PPA — and is reinforced with fibres like carbon, glass, or Kevlar®. This combination dramatically increases rigidity, heat resistance, and print accuracy, reducing warping and shrinkage while producing a matte, professional surface finish.
Carbon fibre filaments are ideal for printing jigs, fixtures, tooling, brackets, drones, and structural components. They are typically abrasive, so they require hardened, steel or silicon carbide nozzles, with a 0.6mm hole, and benefit from an enclosed printer, some with a heated chamber for consistent performance.
Bilby3D stocks a variety of composite materials tested for industrial reliability, ensuring excellent layer adhesion and predictable mechanical strength. We also supply high-temp and carbon-reinforced nylons for advanced manufacturing and production-grade applications.
