BASF UltraCur3D RG 3280 Ceramic Filled Resin - 1.65kg
Ultracur3D® RG 3280 is the first composite material we are added to the BASF rigid product line. Due to the high loading of ceramic particles, this material has an extremely high stiffness around 10 GPa and an HDT B above 280°C.

Outstanding properties place Ultracur3D® RG 3280 in an exceptional position among other resins.
The high stiffness and high heat resistance makes this our best resin for 3D Printing injection molding inserts. MUD (Master Unit Die) inserts sit within a standard surrounding frame of aluminium or steel. This is fast and lost cost way of making molds for short-run injection moulding, from 50-100 pcs (Becton-Dickinson case study produced 100+ polycarbonate, 100+ polypropylene)
Despite the high particle loading, the viscosity is kept low, and the settling of particles is limited, making this resin very easy to handle and print. Its high stiffness and temperature resistance make this the perfect material for tooling, molding, and wind tunnel testing.
The material has a white, ceramic-like color and feel.
