The TMC2130 is a high-performance two-phase stepper motor driver chip with a standard SPI interface and a simple step/dir interface. It is very low noise with a high load driver to reduce lost steps.
Heatsink included!

Note: this is supplied in DIY form so it is a straight drop-in for regular RAMPS boards. To use it in SPI mode, simply create a solder bridge between 2 contacts - instructions can be found easily with a web search.
