This is an upgraded bed for the replicator 2 made from toughened glass that has been custom made with sandblasted edges for safety. It is heavy enough to provide added stability to your print surface. It will never warp or bow, like perspex can; and it is super flat!

We have been using these Sydney made these beds for over 2 years and we have almost never had to re level the bed since using them! You can print straight onto the glass- which does provide a very nice glossy finish to the base of the print, but adhesion can be temperamental so we still use the cream tape. However we have got up to 14 prints of the exact same item on the bed without having to replace it!
All in all, highly recommended upgrade.
Size : 287 wide x 173mm deep with a cut out at the back center and a step out at the front for fixing to Replicator 2 bed exactly the same as perspex bed.
This is an upgraded bed for the Makerbot Replicator 2. It will not fit on a Replicator 1 or 2X as they do not have clip-in-bed Makebot brand bed sells for $473!
