It has a High/Medium/Low output control (to control humidity), and a hydrometer to show you how wet/humid it is inside the cabinet. The cabinet must be contantly connected to power to function, and will automaticall turn on and off as required to adjust internal humidity, then reverts back to stand-by mode using very little energy levels.
