Why do you need a cleaning station?

If users don’t have a cleaning station, all the postprocessing needs to be done by hand with domestic tools and the process is quite tedious, time consuming and even unsafe for the rest of equipment in the room, since the powder will reach almost any place and affect electronics.
Nylon powder is not conductive, but reinforced powder, such as Pa11 CF is conductive and can induce failures in the printer itself, cleaning station or nearby equipment if not handled properly.
Our C220-P is specifically designed to work with our printer build unit. The built unit is inserted into the station and is powered, powering the active cooling, increasing cooling speed*. The lifting of the cake is fully controlled by the user, allowing for better and tidier part cleaning process.
The station comes with a sieving motor which sieves the powder crumbs and break them into small particles allowing the powder to be reused.
The station has a fresh powder chamber and a mixer, allowing users to select the ratio of fresh powder vs used powder and have a batch ready within minutes. The station comes with mesh options of 60, 80, 100 (#mesh) for the different powders available.

* In the event of lack of cleaning station, or when more than 1 build unit is inserted into the cleaning station, the Build unit can also be connected separately to a power source independently to power the active cooling system.
