CarbonX™ ezPC+CF is made using our easy to print ezPC Polycarbonate and reinforced with premium high-modulus carbon fiber. This material offers excellent printability, high thermal properties, strength & stiffness, superior dimensional stability, and an amazing surface finish. This will become your new go-to for engineering-grade parts.
CarbonX™ ezPC+CF is a high-performance carbon fiber reinforced polycarbonate filament. This all-new material material is ideal for anyone that desires a structural component with high heat, high stiffness, excellent surface quality, and dimensional stability. ezPC+CF is a clear choice for engineering-grade projects that require excellent performance and ease of printability.
Benefits of CarbonX™ ezPC+CF Include:
• High thermal properties, especially when reinforced with carbon fiber
• Amorphous structure gives it low, near isotropic shrinkage (very low CTE)
• Further improved stiffness and dimensional stability with the addition of carbon fiber reinforcement
• Very low odor emitted while printing
• Wide processing range of 260-280°C (suitable for most desktop printers)

Outer Spool Diameter: 200mm
Spool Width: 60mm
Spool Hole Diameters 52mm
Recommended Print Conditions
- Extruder: 260-280°C
- Bed Temp: 80-110°C
- Bed Prep: Kapton Tape, with 3D Lac for best results
- Nozzle: We strongly recommend a 0.4mm orifice or larger using a toughened nozzle
- Layer Height: Ideal layer height is 60% of nozzle diameter. We do not recommend printing layers below 0.2mm with carbon fiber grades. Lower than 0.2mm may create too much back pressure in the hot end and result in poor feeding, jams, drive gear clicking, and eating a notch into the filament
- Support: Aquatek water soluble X1 USM support works great to create complex parts
- Drying Instructions: 80°C for 4+ hours Please see the following instructions for when you want to dry out this filament, HERE
Product Dimensions: 200 x 200 x 60mm

Material Safety Data Sheet
Spectrum PC/PTFE is an advanced polycarbonate-based (PC) composite filament with the addition of PTFE commonly known as teflon. The high demand and limited availability of additive manufacturing materials with very good mechanical properties, with particular emphasis on high abrasion resistance, led to the efforts aimed to combine great properties of PC and PTFE. Polycarbonate provides high mechanical resistance and PTFE complements other properties by reducing wear and friction.
